With Total Loss Concierge, we help you find a replacement car, and we even can help you with vehicle financing.

Most insurance companies hand you a check when your car is totaled. Progressive understands that, while you need the check, you also need another car. So, we've designed our Total Loss Concierge service — available only from the Progressive Group of Insurance companies — to help get you into a replacement car quickly.

How Total Loss Concierge Works

If you have a claim that's handled by Progressive and your vehicle can't be repaired, we'll offer you the choice to use Total Loss Concierge or to find a vehicle yourself. Either way, we'll pay you your vehicle's actual cash value.

To Start a New Claim or Check Claim Status Log in.

If you choose to use the Total Loss Concierge service, a concierge specialist will be assigned to you to find out exactly what type of vehicle you're looking for, including make, model, color, year and price range. Your specialist will even ask you how you'd like to finance the vehicle.

Once we know what you're looking for, we get to work contacting a carefully chosen network of dealers and lenders with proven track records for great service and good values. You'll receive priority treatment from them because we're referring you, too.

Network dealers and lenders will work directly with you, but your concierge specialist will always be available to answer questions or provide additional information.

The dealers will find cars that meet as many of your specifications as possible — they'll even arrange test drives for you. If you like a vehicle and need assistance with financing, the network of lenders will get to work right away to help you with that, too.

In most cases, we've found cars that meet customers' needs within six days.

No Charges to Use It

We don't charge you to use the Total Loss Concierge service. Plus, if you don't like the cars we find, you are under no obligation to buy them.

When you choose this service, you'll receive personal attention from a concierge specialist, as well as from our network of dealers and lenders who are known for providing good value and great service.

Options to Buy or Finance

Once you pick your replacement car, our network of lenders can help you choose how to buy or finance it. Remember, the amount you receive as a settlement from your totaled car is yours to keep. If the network of dealers finds you a car that costs less, you keep the difference. If the network finds you a car that is more than your settlement, you can work with the Progressive network of lenders to arrange financing or find financing on your own.

If you still owe money on your totaled car, our pre-approved network of lenders can help. Just let your concierge specialist know about your situation.

We work with a network of direct-to-consumer lenders who can help you get competitive interest rates. Your concierge specialist will help you submit applications to multiple lenders to get you the most competitive rates available through our Total Loss Concierge service.

We understand that replacing a totaled car can be stressful. Total Loss Concierge is just one way we can help make things easier for you.
