Purpose of the Progressive Pet Photo Web site and Contest

At Progressive, we love pets. That’s why we include Pet Injury coverage as a part of Collision coverage. We also love sharing pictures of our pets. Here’s your chance to show the world a photo your dog or cat. Your photo may even be featured on our homepage.

Privacy Statement

By submitting photos to the Progressive Pet Photo Web site, you agree that we may contact you via e-mail regarding the photos you submitted and to give you information about our products and services. We will not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for this Web site for more information.

Rules for Submitting Photos

1. To submit a photo, you must be at least 16 years of age.
2. In order to submit a photo, you must be the copyright owner of the photo or have the permission of the owner to do so.
3. Progressive may, in its discretion, crop the photos, blur or otherwise obscure parts of the photos to make them conform to the contest requirements and content guidelines.
4. Please do not submit a photo multiple times.
5. Progressive reserves the right to refuse to post a photograph for any reason.

Photo Content

Please keep the following guidelines in mind when submitting photos of your pets:

1. We only want photos of your dogs and cats. No humans allowed.
2. No obscene, offensive or otherwise inappropriate photos. Keep the photos family friendly.
3. Only submit photos that are of good quality. No blurry or out of focus shots.
4. Avoid photos that contain items that might compromise a person’s privacy, i.e., license plates and addresses.
5. Do not submit photos that contain prominent logos or brand names.

After a photo is submitted, Progressive will review it to ensure that it meets the following guidelines before it is displayed on the Progressive Pet Photo Web site.

Copyright/Trademark

Progressive does not claim ownership of the photos you submit for inclusion on the Progressive Pet Photo Web site. For the photos you submit to the Progressive Pet Photo Web site, you agree to grant Progressive a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty free license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify and publicly display the photos on the Progressive Pet Photo Web site and on marketing materials promoting the Web site. Owners of the pet photos uploaded to the Progressive Pet Photo Web site will be notified via e-mail when their photo is displayed on the Web site.

Except as expressly provided above, all materials contained in this Web site are the property of Progressive Casualty Insurance Company, its affiliated companies and/or third party licensors. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to Progressive Casualty Insurance Company or its affiliates. Progressive shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or damage, nor any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, which arises out of (a) the use of, or inability to use, this site or content found in this site, or (b) unless resulting from the gross negligence or intentional actions of Progressive, the unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, even if Progressive has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
