How It Works

  • Enroll online.

    Sign up for Snapshot when you buy your Progressive car insurance policy.

  • Take your snapshot.

    Once you get your Snapshot device in the mail, simply plug it into your car, following the instructions that come with it. Then drive like you normally do.

  • Preview your discount.

    Log in to your policy to see whether your driving will save you money. If it will, do nothing—your discount will take effect automatically. If it won’t, you can choose to cancel your enrollment in Snapshot.
