  • With PerkShare, a new service on progressive.com, we offer a variety of vehicle-related discounts and benefits whether you’re a customer or not so you can start saving money even before you get a quote.

  • InformationWeek magazine ranks Progressive near the top of its InformationWeek 500, an annual ranking of the country's most innovative users of business technology.
  • For 2010-2011, we receive a BURNING HOT rating on OUT for Work’s HOT (Hiring Out Talent) list. Companies are rated based on level of anticipated entry hires for the year and workplace equality for LGBT employees.
  • We begin national advertising for our Snapshot Discount, an industry-leading Pay As You Drive® program that offers good drivers the chance to lower their car insurance rates by as much as 30 percent based on real-time analysis of their driving habits.
  • Commercial Lines customers can now choose Pet Injury coverage so their beloved, four-legged companions who tag along in their vehicles are covered the same as our Auto, RV and Boat customers.
April
  • Employees contribute more than $20,000 toward relief efforts for those affected by Japan’s tsunami and earthquake.
  • We bring back our plant-a-tree campaign to encourage paperless transactions. In Florida, Louisiana and Pennsylvania for starters, Auto customers who complete their e-Signature and Paperless enrollment process get a tree planted in their honor in U.S. national forests.
  • We’re one of a list of 50 to win a Diversity MBA magazine Out in Front Award.
  • We’re selected by Historically Black Colleges and Universities as a Top 50 employer.
May
  • We recognize and honor current and former members of the armed forces by sending care packages to soldiers and offering customers and employees “Support Our Troops” wristbands.
  • We earn a spot on CivilianJobs.com’s Most Valuable Employers for Military list.
