Progressive App for iPhone® in Action @ the Scene of an Accident

Posted by Brittany Ritchey on 1/26/2010 at 8:00 AM

Yesterday, we introduced you to the new Progressive App for iPhone. Over the next few days, we’ll show you specific examples of how it can help you.

The scenario: You’ve just gotten rear ended. You pull onto the shoulder, flick on your hazard lights, and call the police. Thankfully, you’re Ok, but you want to get your claim started while all the details are fresh.

Progressive App feature for you: Claims

What you can do with it: While you’re waiting for the police to arrive at the scene, you can report the accident to Progressive. Simply enter as many details as you can about the accident, including photos of your vehicle, then submit them to Progressive. A Progressive claims rep will start working on your claim and follow up with you over the phone.
