BAC limits provided by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Highway Loss Data Institute, www.highwaysafety.org Launching New Window, July 2004.

Note: The basic formula for estimating a person's blood-alcohol concentration comes from Launching New Window The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Each drink in this calculation assumes a volume of .54 ounces of alcohol (one shot of distilled spirits, a glass of wine, or 12 ounces of beer).

*Due to the number of factors involved, no BAC can be completely accurate. The results shown here should be considered only a rough estimate of one's blood alcohol content based on known inputs.

You should not consider this to be a guideline for how much you can drink and still drive responsibly or avoid being arrested. We will not be responsible for actions taken or damages resulting from reliance on this information.
