Here are some great places to start your journey
Students and recent graduates can launch their Progressive accounting career through our two-stage accounting program that begins with an internship and then transitions into our Accounting Rotational Program.
Up-and-comers start here. Available in summer and winter at our corporate headquarters near Cleveland, Ohio, this gives you hands-on experience in one of our business areas as you work with the support of a mentor within the Accounting team. This program is ideal for students graduating within a year of completing the internship.
The Accounting Rotational Program
Math wizards who complete the internship take the next step: a two-year, full-time position that includes four six-month-long rotations, each in a different business area.
Our Contact Center and Claims team members provide our customers with products, services, and experiences to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Flex and expand your current skills as you prepare for the next step in your career in one of the following roles:

Clairvoyants who apply and build strong analytical and statistical skills to predict ultimate claims payouts while also receiving study time for actuarial exams.

Analyst Development Program
Protégés who work with veteran analysts involved in loss reserving, pricing, internal reporting, and business unit control. This is a two-year, full-time rotational program.
Forecasters who use analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and team-building skills to evaluate market trends, implement insurance pricing options, and recommend rate adjustments.

Creators who develop and maintain proprietary software applications for customers and employees to buy, quote, sell, manage policies, and resolve claims.
Systems test engineers
Test pilots who validate and verify technology product requirements to ensure our technology meets our customers' expectations. They also design and execute test cases and test tools and automation.
Physicians who keep tabs on the health of our IT infrastructure and monitor and fix outages in our voice and data network, server, client PC, and mainframe environments.
