Black Friday is one of the most highly anticipated holidays for shoppers looking for great deals all across the country. And as with most years, electronic devices will most certainly be taking center stage! In an effort to make your hunt for the best deals a little less stressful, we’ve done some of the research for you! Take a look at the five things you should know heading into Black Friday 2017!
1. The Apple X effect
It’s no secret that the headliner in mobile device news over the past couple of months has been the release of Apple’s iPhone 8, iPhone 8+, and the iPhone X. So what’s the fallout of the release of these new models? The iPhone 7/7+ will be available at a much reduced price! Be on the lookout this Black Friday with reports indicating that the iPhone 7/7+ overall cost could be reduced up to $300!
2. 4K TVs will be available at a bargain
If you’re in the market for a new TV this fall, you might be in luck! It’s been reported that some 4K TVs are expected to be as cheap as 1080p TVs this Black Friday! In fact, projections indicate that a 55” 4K TV will cost almost the same as a 55” 1080p TV. With a clearer image and a much higher resolution, it might be worth keeping your eyes peeled for good deals on 4K TVs this year!
3. Laptops that will provide bang for your buck
Aside from smartphones and TV’s, laptops are a main draw amongst Black Friday sales. With reports suggesting that Chromebooks will sell for as little as $99 and higher-end laptops are projected to go for less than $300, there will be plenty of excellent deals available this year! Expect this year to pay similar prices to 2016, but anticipating getting much more for your investment in the form of RAM and storage!
4. Amazon Prime will continue its reign
In recent years, Amazon Prime has established its foothold among the elite on the online shopping industry and Black Friday 2017 is fully expected to follow suit! After a 2016, where they saw sales increase 21.6 percent year-over-year, there’s no doubt that paying attention to online deals through Amazon is a must. With an emphasis on unbeatable deals on laptops, TVs, smart home devices, and much more, Amazon is aiming for another great year! If you’re looking to eliminate the hectic in-store ramifications of Black Friday shopping, Amazon might be worth it!
5. Don’t forget about gaming consoles!
There seems to be little emerging in the rumor department in terms of new gaming consoles, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be considering a new gaming system! In particular, the PlayStation 4 Pro should be turning a lot of heads this fall. With this model now being a year old, the console has been seeing a steady decrease in price, but Black Friday promises to make the PlayStation 4 Pro a much hotter commodity!
