How to throw an instagrammable bachelorette party

Planning a bachelorette party is a lot of work. Whether you’re traveling for a destination party or not you’re coordinating the schedules and interests of several people. The ultimate goal is for everyone to have a good time and for the bride to feel special and loved while she’s surrounded by her favorite people. But what if you want to make sure the party is taken to the next level and even, dare I say, Instagram-worthy? Here are six easy tips to help you throw a gorgeous Instagrammable bachelorette party that is sure to wow!

Have a beautiful backdrop

Whether that’s a gorgeous rented home, the beach, stylish hotel rooms, or the mountains, you’ll want scenery that makes for good photos. Look for places with great natural light and unique details. Anywhere with natural beauty is sure to be photoworthy.

Personalize it

All of my girls were coming from out of town to spend the weekend celebrating me so I wanted to treat them with a welcome bag. I picked out cute totes and cosmetic cases and tried to be thoughtful with which ones were given to each person. One of my girlfriends is obsessed with pugs so naturally I gave her the pug bag stuffed with goodies! I also added these adorable personalized itineraries so that everyone knew where we needed to be and when there was downtime. It’s special touches like this that will set your party apart and make everyone feel special.

Decorations make all the difference! They’re the perfect way to spruce up any party location. Even if it’s already beautiful, it’s never a bad idea to add a little something extra. We went with a bachelorette balloon sign, a string of diamond rings, and tassel garland.

Pool floats

These babies get their own step because I think they’re an essential! It might seem silly but they’re total crowd pleasers and make for the perfect ‘gram. Bonus—they’re actually really fun and useful!

Set the scene

The easiest way to implement this tip is if you’re having any meals at home. Make sure you set the scene with all of the finishing touches. I’m talking about placemats, napkins, candles, pretty straws, and flowers. Maybe even a wisteria “chandelier”!

Do something out of the ordinary

Experiences make for great photos as well as lasting memories. It could be a cooking class, a hot air balloon ride, or seeing a musical. Do something that you wouldn’t normally and make sure to snap a photo or two.

You don’t need to do all of these things, but pick two or three and you’ll be sure to throw a memorable party and one that ends up all over your friends’ Instagram feeds!
