We can provide you with an estimate for the damage to your vehicle using photos and a video you take with your smartphone and upload. That way, we can review the damage and create your estimate faster. It’s quick and hassle free.

Here’s how to get started:

  • Download the Progressive Mobile App.
  • Select Start Photo Estimate from the Claims Center and Login.
  • Follow the steps in the app. We’ll walk you through the process of taking photos and video of the damages to your vehicle, and you can even add comments to tell us more about the damage.
  • When you’re finished, just click on the Upload button to send us your photos and video. Standard data rates may apply.

Within a few business days of uploading your photos, we’ll complete an estimate and send you a copy via email.

The decision to repair is yours—and it’s OK to not repair. If you decide to repair your vehicle, you can choose an approved shop in the Progressive Network or any other shop you’d like. At our approved network of shops we’ll help manage the repair process for you from beginning to end. We’ll even guarantee your repairs for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. Just call your claim rep to start the repair process.

Where do I find my invitation code?

A representative will text you an invitation code after determining Photo Estimate is right for you. Standard data rates may apply.

Do I have to repair after I receive my estimate?

The decision to repair is yours—and it’s OK to not repair. If you don’t get repairs, we’ll simply write you a check for what it would have cost to repair (minus your deductible, if applicable). If you don’t own your vehicle—check with your lienholder or leasing company before making a decision. In order to protect their interest, they may require that you repair.
