We are committed to minimizing the effect our operations have on the environment.
Our Buildings
We work closely with builders on new construction and renovations to ensure we are using eco-friendly processes, like metal recycling and sourcing locally to lower fuel costs, as well as eco-friendly materials, such as office walls pre-manufactured to site specifications that minimize construction waste and airborne debris as well as low-emitting paints and carpets.
We re-use building materials and products and re-use, repair and rebuild furniture and furnishings. Motion sensing lighting is used in offices, conference and training rooms to conserve electricity and low-flow faucets are used to conserve water.
Our Business
We use energy-efficient computers and other machines to help us manage our business. We also offer customers paperless options which save paper, and we have a companywide paper recycling program. Our claims organization works to conserve gasoline used by our fleet of Immediate Response Vehicles.
Our Environment
We work to conserve the natural setting of our campus locations in Cleveland; Austin, Texas; Tampa, Fla.; Sacramento, Calif.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Tempe, Ariz., by working with builders to save old growth trees and protect wetlands. And, we ensure the safety of our people in outdoor spaces while conserving energy by using low-energy consumption outdoor lighting.
