Save when you have two or more policies with Progressive. For instance, if you carry auto and boat insurance with us, you'll enjoy a discount on one of those policies. When you switch to Progressive, we honor the time you spent with your previous insurer with a discount. The amount of the discount will vary based on how long you've been continuously insured and applies upon your first policy renewal.

Adding a teen driver to your policy can increase the price — offset the cost a bit with our teen driver discount (driver must be 18 years or under). Discount applies after one year with Progressive. Learn more about car insurance for teens.

Small Accident Forgiveness: Starting with your first policy term, we won't raise your rate for your first claim less than $500.

Large Accident Forgiveness: If you've been a Progressive customer for at least five years and remained accident and violation-free for up to five years, your rate won't increase if you have a claim.

Progressive® Accident Forgiveness:^|| You can purchase additional accident forgiveness benefits. When you buy Progressive Accident Forgiveness, you may be eligible to have one accident forgiven per policy period, in addition to any accidents that qualify for Small and Large Accident Forgiveness.

A smart student makes you a smart shopper. Add a full-time student on your policy who maintains a "B" average or better, and we'll add a car insurance discount.

If you have a full-time student on your policy who is 22 years of age or younger and lives more than 100 miles from your home, you'll receive a discount — as long as the student doesn't have a vehicle while at school.

You'll get another discount simply for being a homeowner, even if your home isn't insured through Progressive's network of home insurers.

Save when you have more than one vehicle listed on your policy. You can add any car to your auto policy (belonging to a spouse, family member, or roommate), as long as it's kept primarily at your address.

You're eligible for this discount when you quote car insurance online. The discount also applies if a licensed Progressive representative finishes your quote over the phone.

Here's another easy discount anyone can earn. If you're comfortable signing your documents online, we're comfortable kicking in Progressive's sign online discount.

When you opt to receive your documents via email, you'll automatically receive a discount. These savings are dependent upon signing your documents online, and are in addition to our sign online discount.

If you pay for your policy in full up front, you'll earn a discount.

If the pay in full option isn't right for you, we'll give you a discount for setting up automatic payments from a checking account, credit card, or debit card. (This discount cannot be combined with pay in full discounts).

Shrink your deductible in the event of a claim. For each policy period without an accident or violation, we'll subtract $50 from your comprehensive or collision deductible. This is an optional coverage that will slightly increase your policy's cost.

With Progressive, safe driving = extra savings. If you've had no tickets or accidents in the past three years, your policy price could average 34% less than customers who have accidents or violations.
