It's more than just a phone call for our call center reps at Progressive. Answering questions is only the beginning.

Our customer service and inbound sales reps educate customers about coverage options, quote policies, and sell additional products like Home, Renters, Motorcycle, and Boat policies. The one thing they don't do: make cold calls.

We refer to our call centers as Relationship Centers for a reason. Whatever our customers need, our call center reps have the knowledge and expertise to assist them with an open ear and a helping hand.

If you're the kind of person who holds the door open for strangers and has a willingness to learn and grow within one company, you'll be a welcome voice here. We have six customer care teams in call center locations across the country.

Talking about insurance, nobody wants to talk about insurance because it’s something that they put their money on and then hope not to use it.
Narrator:
So, when I hear that beep … Joe is calling, "Hey, Cris, this is Joe. My policy is up so I'm looking for a better rate."
Narrator:
The best feature that we can offer is our customer service. I make sure it's fun. I make them feel comfortable. I just make it seem like I am there with them
Narrator:
Anything that has wheels, I can write a policy for it. I also do renters and homeowners insurance which is pretty nice because being able to do it all together saves the customer's time and it's better for me because it gives it a little variety.
Narrator:
It is challenging at times because it is a phone job. We don't do any outbound calls but when it's peak season I probably take 60 phone calls or more a day.
Narrator:
But most of the time it's rewarding because, today I actually had a customer … "You know what, you're saving me money every month."
Narrator:
And I'm like, "That is awesome to hear."
Narrator:
You know, I see the Progressive building every time I drive to the store but I never really, like, thought of working for an insurance company. It's totally different from what I thought.
Narrator:
You are celebrated for who you are. For me, as a mother of two, I can actually find balance with work and my family.
Narrator:
There's a lot of room to grow. Progressive is very supportive. And if you pursue a different field, they'll make sure you are prepared for it.
Narrator:
If, you know, I am not on a phone call, who will answer? Cause a lot times customers are like, "I don't want to talk to a computer." We need people who are passionate when it comes to helping customers.
