Consider these coverages:
Protect your family and assets
- Bodily injury and property damage: $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident/$50,000 property damage
This coverage protects you and your assets, so you may not have to pay for injuries and damages if you cause an accident. It covers the other driver's (and passengers') medical bills and car damages, as well as your legal fees, in the rare event you get sued. Learn more about auto liability insurance.
The first number is the maximum paid per person for injuries. The second is the max paid for all injuries. And the third is the max paid for property damage.
As your assets grow, you should consider increasing this coverage.
Protect your vehicles
- Collision insurance: $500 deductible
This coverage pays for any damage to your vehicle when you hit or get hit by another car or object. After you pay your deductible, we cover the rest. Learn more about collision insurance.
For example, if you have $1,500 worth of damages and a $500 deductible, you would pay $500 for the repairs and we’d cover the rest. The higher your deductible is, the less your insurance policy costs.
- Comprehensive insurance: $500 deductible
This coverage protects your car if it's damaged by something other than a collision, such as fire, vandalism, hail, or flood. We cover the repair costs (after you pay the deductible). We also cover damage caused by hitting an animal or if your car gets stolen. Get more details on comprehensive insurance.
Keep in mind that the coverages, limits, and deductibles suggested are a starting point for you to consider. You should select coverages at the limits and deductibles sufficient to protect your assets. You'll get additional information as quotes come in. All coverages are subject to policy terms and conditions.
